Client Story Video: Foreclosure PRevention
In my most recent full-time role with the Connecticut Fair Housing Center, I produced and directed a video to share the story of one of the Center’s foreclosure prevention clients. Mr. McBroom was a senior who was facing foreclosure on his longtime home due to confusion over a reverse mortgage.
The videography was by Roger Castonguay of Defining Studios. I interviewed the client along with his attorney from the Center, developed an outline for the video, and worked closely with our videographer and his editing staff to try and make a complicated issue more understandable for viewers. Later, I manually added captions to the YouTube video to ensure accessibility.
The video was shared on the Center’s website, social media, and e-newsletter, and has been viewed over 3,000 times.
